Wellness Global Foundation's Executive Director chosen as Sisters to the Planet Ambassador.

Wellness Global Foundation's Executive Director Kim Behan was recently chosen to be one of Oxfam's Sisters on the Planet Ambassador. The Sisters on the Planet Initiative is part of a new social justice program begun by Oxfam America to address a variety of interconnected issues, including food security, gender inequality, climate crisis, hunger and poverty. Cardiac Surgery in Vietnam: Dr. Natzi Reports on WGF's Cardiac Mission

In May 2007, a surgical team from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire, (CHU) a university hospital in Liège, Belgium, conducted an initial mission to Hospital 115 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The team faces a very important challenge: Building upon and expanding surgical cardiac adult services in the public Hospital 115 in Ho Chi Minh City. See More.

Oxfam Report Endorses Highly Effective Rice Growing Method

A recent Oxfam report endorses investment in a new growing method, System of Rice Intensification (SRI). This new method allows farmers to grow more rice using less water. The new report is partly based on experiences from farmers in Vietnam. Using this new method, Oxfam's report found that Vietnamese farmers were able to increase their incomes by about 50%. This new method has the potential to help the world's poor farm more effectively and offers a way to adapt to climate change. Read more about SRI in Vietnam.
