Vietnam Medical Clinic is supported by
Wellness Global Foundation, a non-profit organization, the volunteers (UW student based group) will be traveling to Vietnam
this summer on a medical mission. They will provide health care through
medicine, medical supplies, and rice, serving 2500-3000 patients.
Each ticket is $50, although it seems expensive,
it includes a gourmet 17 item buffet, live jazz music, silent and live
auction, and most importantly, proceeds go towards a significant cause.
If you, your parents, parents' friends, coworkers, or anyone can support by coming to the dinner/auction, please let us know.
Another
way to support is if you can donate or know a business which can
donate/sponsor an item or gift certificate for the auction (restaurant,
artwork, entertainment, spa/salon etc), that would be extremely
generous! In return, the items will represent the donors or
businesses from which it came, as well as serving a great cause!
The
money raised will go directly to buying medicine and supplies for the
patients, and will not go towards student costs. They will pay for
their own trip/expenses.
